“frolicking” and a dreamy moment

This selection of Indiana Doyle Hill’s photography features a standalone dreamy image dated pre-pandemic and a series named “frolicking.” Below are Hill’s thoughts behind the pieces.

This picture was captured pre-corona on a train into the city with my friends on a hot Friday. The dreamlike aesthetic of the image reminds me of the days when my friends and I would just go on adventures and there wasn’t anything stopping us. The magical thing about this picture is that I don’t even remember who the person with the book is, what’s even cooler is this was an accidental take.

The next few pictures were taken on a very hot day during summer after a long walk in the sun. My friend and I decided to have a little impromptu ‘photoshoot’ because I had taken her to my special place near the creek. We were just feeling ourselves that day and these photos encapsulate the happiness I felt that day.
