jo is the current copy chief for grain of salt mag. they started their journey with grain of salt after applying for the residency program on a whim during quarintine. they currently freelance for their school’s newspaper and are planning to major in journalism at depaul university in chicago next fall. they also like to dabble in video and sound editing. jo loves to write about music, movies and art, and dreams of one day working for rolling stone. outside of school, jo enjoys reading, playing guitar, poetry and nintendo games. they are very passionate about lgbtqia+ issues and love being able to represent a part of the non-binary community for grain of salt.
