paola raygoza is a student at the university of texas at rio grande valley and is working towards her bfa in graphic design. her work is inspired by her favorite bands, films and movements she is passionate about. raygoza hopes to make a career out of making merchandise for her favorite artists. outside of academics, she spends her time learning how to grow her own vegetables and going off grid to be able to live a more sustainable future. majoring in graphic design has opened doors for them into other mediums like sculpting and printmaking. besides art, raygoza also enjoys drinking tea, reading books, playing minecraft and animal crossing and astrology. when she wants to do something fun, she likes to hang out with her friends, hit up bookstores, and go to concerts. she is passionate about using her voice to speak up on latinx issues, gender equality. the lgbt+ community and healing generational trauma.
