theo rennell is the creative writing editor at grain of salt magazine and a senior at smith college studying english and sociology with a focus in creative writing and a poetry concentration. writing has been a part of theo’s life for as long as they can remember, but they owe their love of poems, specifically, to the button poetry youtube channel, and their high school english teacher. they themself plan on becoming an english teacher, and hope to play a part in raising the next generation of queer, unique and unusual poets. when theo is not writing, you can find them buying rocks, making hot cocoa and pretending they know how to play guitar. they also frequent the woods and natural bodies of water. you can find their poems “gaping” and “no lord but butterflies” on the grain of salt website.
